The girl, now aged 18, said:
'I wasn't comfortable because I wasn't $*xually active before and I kept trying to avoid it. He told me he would train me. 'I found his power attractive. I thought it was thrilling, meeting up with him. He told me he was in the army and was also a personal trainer.She said that when she was 16 he began to send 'fl!rty' messages across WhatsApp and Facebook - telling her she was 'special and amazing'.
The girl, named as Student A, said she eventually agreed, admitting she was 'flattered' by the attention of the teacher. Lewis allegedly took the slim brunette for trips in his car, visits to McDonald's and invited her
to adventure days out with him. She said he kised her on a rock climbing expedition when Lewis led her into a cave.
Student A said: 'When I went on the rock climbing trip we ended up kising in a cave. It was passionate.' She said about two months later Lewis allegedly took her v!rgin!ty in her mother's bed.
The girl said it began a two-year $*xual relationship. The hearing was told he asked her to keep their relationship secret at first, saying he would lose his job.
But the girl said Lewis became 'emotionally abusive' around February last year - threatening to expose the relationship to her mother after accusing her of not spending enough time with him. Student A said Lewis began stalking her at both her home and her part-time job, and his behaviour became 'controlling and manipulative.'
She said she eventually told Lewis it was over - but he began bombarding her with apologies and even threatened to kill himself if she left him.
In June she finally plucked up the courage to tell staff about the relationship and Lewis was reported to education officials.
