A tragic head-on collision accident involving two trains in Italy has left many dead and others seriously injured.

At least 12 people have died after two trains collided head-on in Puglia, southern Italy. The incident happened on Tuesday, July 12.
Italian news reports say that two trains collided head-on. The trains, each with four cars, collided near the town of Andria on a line with just a single track, according to news agency ANSA and Sky TG24.
According to AFP, a photo of the crash showed cars crumpled together and forced off the tracks at sharp angles.
Latest report has it that people are now being rescued from the rubble and so far, a small child has been rescued alive.
Italy’s prime minister, Matteo Renzi says the train crash “is a moment of tears” and has pledged not to stop until a cause is determined.READ MORE HERE
