According to a resident of Enugu who was
allegedly Kidnapped by Fulani Herdsmen a weeks ago, there is a plot to
set off by Bombs in the South East and South South regions of the
country by these herdsmen.
According to our source:
“My neigbhours son was kidnapped last week by these Fulani men at Enugu after 9th Mile.
He came to my house this evening to tell
me all that transpired and I felt it should be shared so our people can
be careful and at alert. These Fulani men had guns and were deadly
according to his son who was released 5 days ago. They demanded a
ransom of N10m but eventually accepted N1m which friends helped my
neighbour to raise. The young man was taken to the hospital but he is
doing fine. I don’t think I should give his name because he is well
known at Enugu because of the office where he works. pls The info I
think is important are….
1. Those Fulani men said to him, “We are
kidnapping your people in order to raise money to buy bombs. Very soon
bombs will start exploding in the East.”
2. When people are driving and the road
is lonely and these Fulani men block the road with their cows…..the
person should quickly reverse and run. They are all kidnappers
especially where the road is lonely.
3. The new Opi Road in Enugu…the one
after Obolo Afor is their zone. They rape women and kidnap people there.
Our people coming from Abuja etc should avoid that road. Please tell
our people to be on high alert. These Fulani men are deadly.”
