OMG! Mother Dumps Her Child At The Assemblies Of God Church In Cross River State, What She Did Next Is Too Shocking

The baby was discovered at the church premises around 2:30pm on August 4, 2016, after the mother, Monica, had reportedly collected N1,000 from Francis Agianpuye, the reverend in charge of the church, some days earlier.

Agianpuye said he discovered the child who had been abandoned with some clothes in a bag, and had sent some youths to go in search of the mother. When they couldn’t find the child’s mother, he made the decision to take the matter to the police. 

The State’s Police Public Relations Officer, Ms. Irene Ugbo, said the child was currently in the custody of the cleric and the command had started searching for the fleeing mother.
