According to twitter user @Chybyke, he
stumbled upon some butchers at the Kwata abattoir in Anambra State and
was stunned by the way the meat was being handled.
According to him, the butchers were
‘washing’ the slain meat in muddy water, as a means of getting it ready
for open market purchase. A disappointed @Chybyke had this to say:

To The Abattoir To Iyiagu Area. I Think I Have Played My Part By Calling
The Attention Of Heads Of Their Union. The State Government Should Look
Into This As A Matter Of Urgency As It Involves Health.”
