The victim’s son, Apeh Peterhot said the robber accosted his mum along the road and pulled off a Jack-knife and asked the woman to surrender the motorcycle key.
Apeh said, “Luckily, my mum was brave enough to drag the knife with him before other people came to her rescue.”
The suspect was arrested and beaten mercilessly before he was taken to Ugbokolo Divisional Police Station.
