A 25-year-old woman, Juliana Adeyemo, has been killed by a yet-to-be identified person suspected to be a soldier in 32 Artillery Brigade of the Nigerian Army, Owena Barracks, Akure, Ondo State.
Juliana, a recharge cards (vouchers) seller in the barracks, was reportedly found in a pool of blood in her apartment in the base on Sunday.
According to the husband, his wife was stabbed multiple times by the alleged soldier in the presence of their two kids, the killer also stole all the money in the house and the recharge cards the woman sold.
The PRO of the 32 Artillery Brigade, Captain Ojo Adelegan confirmed the incident but denied that a soldier carried out the attack on the woman. The army is currently investigating the case.
